As a part of Dollar Tree's ongoing expansion in the southeast, their Savannah facility required a significant increase in distribution capacity. Evans was contracted to provide comprehensive general contracting services, including complete design and construction. This 410,000 square foot distribution expansion was constructed using load bearing, tilt up concrete. It has a 45 mil TPO roof system, roof mounted Cambridge heating units, a three level pick module, and an aerosol storage area.

Evans performed all design, sitework, infrastructure, and building construction. Sitework on the project included the clearing and erosion control, earthwork, underground utilities, paving, as well as curb and gutter. In addition, all normal shipping and receiving operations were maintained throughout the construction process. Including the relocation of the truck access road, security fencing, and guard house.
