Evans’ Plays Key Role in Bringing European companies’ Operations to the U.S.

Case Study: A Large-Scale Manufacturing Facility in Texas

We partnered with a leading European manufacturer to build a state-of-the-art facility in Port Arthur, Texas. The project involved the construction of five 17,000 metric ton silos, each requiring substantial foundational work, including over 1,000 precast piles and 100 H-piles to stabilize the site and support the heavy loads of both the silos and the surrounding infrastructure.

The manufacturing facility’s design integrated a 4,000 linear foot enclosed pneumatic conveyor system to facilitate efficient movement of materials, making it a vital component in supporting the client’s vision. The complexity of the project required understanding of both local regulations and technical needs to ensure the facility would function with the company’s existing European operations.

Evans not only managed the design and construction process but also created a foundation of resilience and efficiency, which was essential for a facility expected to meet growing demand in the U.S. market. The result was a fully operational, advanced manufacturing hub that enhanced the client’s production capacity and represented their first U.S. market entry.

Case Study: Aseptic Filling and Clinical Manufacturing Redevelopment in Midwest

A well-known European Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization, with production sites across the globe, looked to Evans to assist with a brownfield redevelopment at their only existing U.S. campus. The construction supported the aseptic filling of high-value injectable products along with formulation and process development, drug delivery systems, clinical manufacturing, and regulatory assistance. Along with compliance to U.S. Guidelines Annex 1 and FDA requirements for Aseptic Processing in cGMP manufacturing areas, the building will support other business functions including being the headquarters for all US Operations.

Both projects exemplify Evans’ ability to bridge European manufacturing excellence with the evolving needs of the U.S. market, ensuring that our clients have the infrastructure they need to succeed.

As of 2025, Evans has successfully delivered more than 45 European expansion projects across the U.S. and is currently under construction or working on 6 more projects, spanning manufacturing, automation, life sciences, and distribution logistics sectors.
