Evans Charleston Division Announces New Leadership

Ben Brackett has been promoted to Vice President, Division Manager

Charleston, SC – August 5, 2024 — Evans General Contractors, LLC (Evans), announces a change in leadership of its Charleston Division by appointing Ben Brackett to lead as Vice President, Division Manager. Recognizing his contributions, leadership, and dedication to the company and its clients throughout his tenure at Evans, Ben has been promoted to drive market growth and oversee retention efforts for the area.

Alongside Jesse Bentley, EVP, Regional Director for Evans’ Charleston, Jacksonville, and Savannah Divisions, Ben’s focus will be to lead and develop a talented team of professionals. He’ll continue to work closely with clients, design professionals, and trade partners to deliver facilities that exemplify company culture and is committed to exceeding their expectations while prioritizing integrity and innovation.

Ben brings an extensive understanding of the preconstruction process with experience in design-build and traditional project delivery services throughout the Southeast as well as project operations for the Charleston market. In the industry for over a decade, Ben recently oversaw the site planning, business development, subcontractor relations, and project buyout for Evans Charleston as a Preconstruction Manager.

Ben is a graduate of the Leadership Charleston Class of 2021, a LEED Green Associate, and active participant of local and industry organizations.
