Evans Welcomes Ken Thomas to Lead the Jacksonville Office as New Division Manager

Jacksonville, FL – September 28, 2026 — Evans General Contractors announces that Ken Thomas has joined the company as Vice President/Division Manager of its Jacksonville office. The appointment strengthens Evans’ Coastal Region leadership team as it continues to expand its operational oversight to better serve clients, support projects, and increase its presence throughout Florida and the East Coast.

As part of this role, Ken will drive the Florida division’s success, including strategy, staffing, and preconstruction and estimating efforts. He’ll also oversee quality and safety across all projects as well as strengthen client and trade partner relationships.

A Florida native from the Tampa area, Ken comes from a family where construction runs deep, with generations of contractors, tradespeople, engineers, and design professionals shaping his passion for building. He started working in the industry at seventeen, earned his Civil Engineering degree from Florida International University, and has extensive construction and engineering experience, having worked on projects in every major market across Florida.
