Giving Back: A Tradition of Care and Community
Evans’ Holiday Initiatives Strengthen Communities and Inspire Lasting Change
Atlanta, GA – December 24, 2025 — At Evans, this season brought new opportunities to serve and connect with the communities we call home. Our teams came together once again to support local families through toy and food drives, took part in a home-building project, and helped make the holidays brighter through fundraising efforts that reached far beyond the month of December.

At our corporate headquarters in Atlanta, the team continued its tradition of giving back by supporting the North Fulton Community Charities (NFCC) annual Toy and Food Drive. Their donations helped brighten the holidays for more than 1,300 local children. Not stopping there, Evans Atlanta also showed love to our four-legged friends, preparing homemade enrichment treats and collecting toys and essentials for the Lifeline Animal Project.
During Thanksgiving, the Savannah team combined creativity and compassion, decorating Christmas trees and collecting toys and supplies for pets. Their contributions to Coastal Pet Rescue’s Twinkle Bark Stroll ensured local animals felt celebrated and cared for this time of year.
Beyond Georgia, Evans Jacksonville partnered with Sysco for the second year in their Blessings in a Backpack program, assembling over 500 food bags for local children. With schools closed for the winter and families facing higher costs, these meals provided a boost of support and stability for the local community.
In the Coastal region, Evans Charleston donated 308 pounds of food to the Lowcountry Food Bank, delivering fresh produce and vital nutrition programs for families, seniors, and veterans. Aside from meals, the Food Bank provides education, community connections, and initiatives that support children and local farmers, creating lasting impact across the Lowcountry.
Taking its community engagement a step further, the team joined Terracon and Seamon Whiteside on the fifth Annual Playhouse Project, presented by Lowe’s Home Improvement and Habitat for Humanity. Together, they built a Moana-themed house and thoughtfully decorated it for one of the sponsor families, earning first place, marking the team’s third consecutive win.
At the Charlotte office, giving back meant donating 523 pounds of canned food to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, benefiting families in 24 counties across the Carolinas. The team also joined hands with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s 51st Explorers Christmas Project, helping local families bring gifts to their children.
Evans Raleigh embraced the season by supplying 455 pounds of food to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC. The team helped stock markets, pantries, and meal sites for children, adults, and seniors, ensuring this contribution provides nourishment and comfort to thousands of families facing food insecurity. Completing these efforts, the team also adopted 10 children for the fourth year through Raleigh’s Angel Tree Terrace Nonprofit Group fulfilling their Christmas wish lists.
Continuing this spirit, the Greenville Team partnered with Overbrook Church and the East North Street Academy on their annual Holiday Store, allocating $1,250 to help more than 30 families shop for their children’s gifts. Furthermore, they maintained their long-standing partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County, volunteering since 2015 to assist with blue board wrap, window installation, and siding preparation on an affordable home.
Over in Dallas, the team collected a generous selection of toys for the Toys for Tots holiday drive, a program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, bringing joy and hope to children across the nearby community.
From the field, the Evans Team at MSK1 Data Center in Oklahoma, worked with trade partners on the Lauren’s Legacy Toy Drive, nominated by the Muskogee County Schools. Leftover toys were distributed at Christmas by the Sheriff’s department, who went door-to-door to ensure underserved families received gifts. In addition, the project crew participated in a food drive to support the Hope Church’s You Are Not Alone program, which prepares meals over the holidays and assembles baskets of nonperishable foods for the local homeless shelters.
Our commitment to service reflects our belief in making a meaningful difference wherever we can. Every year, we see firsthand how even small acts of kindness can provide comfort and create lasting impact when it’s needed most.
We are grateful to our employees, partners, and supporters whose generosity and hard work make these efforts possible. Together, we are building a culture of compassion and support, and we are excited to expand this work throughout the year.
