Ronnie Cupp and Jesse Bentley named EVP, Regional Directors to oversee Regional Growth and instill Company Culture

ATLANTA, GA (January 2024) – Evans General Contractors (Evans) announces a new leadership structure with the appointment of two senior leaders into Executive Vice President, Regional Director roles. As a leading design-build general contractor, Evans has experienced significant growth across many of its verticals including Manufacturing, Life Sciences, and Advanced Technology leading to strategic investments in key markets. Today, Evans operates in offices across the Southeast, Texas, and in Germany, and is putting executive leadership in place to spearhead the success and performance of some of these locations.

“I’m committed to instilling our company’s culture into these offices while continuing to oversee Atlanta’s success,” Ronnie noted. “Given Evans’ accomplishments over the years, it’s my pleasure to be part of its new direction and to continue to promote operational excellence within its teams.”

Jesse Bentley, who has been with Evans since 2009, has been promoted to serve as the Regional Director for the firm’s Coastal Region. This includes the Savannah, Georgia; Charleston, South Carolina; and Jacksonville, Florida markets where he will assist in day-to-day operations and strategic direction. Having served as Division Manager for the Savannah Office, Jesse’s immediate focus will be to name a new Division Manager as well as establish a more permanent presence in Jacksonville, a location in which Evans has operated as an extension of Savannah by way of a small satellite office for 18 months. Given the business opportunities and partnerships within Florida, expansion into this market is eminent for 2024.

“I’m honored to help usher Evans into new revenue streams and to continue our efforts as being the leading design-builder in the Southeast. I look forward to enhancing our service offerings as well as growing and developing new talent and business relationships for the region,” stated Bentley.

“We have a strong team here at Evans,” said RT Evans, President & CEO. “Both Ronnie and Jesse’s remarkable contributions to our growth, and their proven commitment to ensuring the culture at Evans is maintained despite significant growth, is telling of their leadership abilities. I am confident in their direction to strengthen and expand their region’s depth and breadth of services and look forward to what this team will accomplish as we continue to build for the future.”

Evans’ other offices will continue to operate under the guidance and leadership of Jeff Jepson, EVP and Chief Operating Officer as well as Chris Hilgeman, Senior Vice President. These leadership changes went into effect on January 1, 2024.
