AeroFarms, an industry leader in farming technologies, teamed up with Evans General Contractors to build their new mid-Atlantic facility known as Project Greenlight.

Project Greenlight is a state-of-the-art 146,000 SF indoor vertical farm built to leverage AeroFarm’s proprietary closed loop aeroponic technology. The facility’s scope of work included 48 grow towers, harvesting, cleaning, packaging, and shipping areas as well as 35,000 sf of cold storage and additional administration space. Services included design-assist for the core and shell as well as design-build for the tenant improvements and office build out.

Evans provided a turnkey delivery using value and process engineering, technical procurment, startup and commissioning, and installation of all process equipment
