Project Details
Catalyst Nutraceuticals manufactures top-of-the-line dietary supplements, ready-to-mix drink powders, and capsules for performance nutrition as well as health and wellness brands. Their expertise in custom formulations and unique flavoring capabilities enables Catalyst to respond quickly to market trends. Due to increased demand, Catalyst Nutraceuticals relocated their corporate headquarters from Alpharetta to Buford, GA in a move that allows for increased manufacturing capacity (tripling the size of their manufacturing operations) and output by more than five times.
Evans General Contractors was chosen to build their new 159,000 sf state-of-the-art facility that included critical and non-critical space for their production as well as labs, office, and warehouse. Evans assisted the design team that outlined how the integration of process equipment from blenders to high-speed encapsulation machines, R&D labs, and packaging lines into the facility.
For the fit-out, special emphasis was placed on their production spaces and processes to ensure alignment with FDA specifications. The lab area included casework for the analytical, R&D, and QA/QC rooms with fume hoods over acid storage.
Evans’ Life Sciences team was able to complete this project to the desired specifications and expectations of the client. This construction effort further solidifies the team’s capabilities and expertise in the pharmaceutical and bio-chemical markets.
