Project Details
Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a subsidiary of General Dynamics, designs, develops, manufactures, markets, services and supports the world’s most technologically advanced business-jet aircrafts. They contracted with Evans to construct their research and development facility which included an enterprise data center to support the facility and campus.
Critical utilities and systems included redundant cooling with DX System, CRAC units, FM200 fire suppression system, 500 kW generator, 225k VA UPS units, ATS systems, raised flooring, as well as whitespace and rack build out.
Scope included technical procurement, building infrastructure and critical utilities, startup and commissioning, and all equipment installation.
Evans has a long standing partnership with Gulfstream. Spanning the course of several years, Evans has constructed multiple projects from RDC facilities to wing assembly buildings.
