Scannell Properties, working with Evans previously on numerous builds throughout the southeast, entrusted the team once again to build a state-of-the-art logistics building known as Scannell 55 Logistics Center. This project is located in Horn Lake, MS and is Evans’ second build for Scannell, in Desoto County. Right outside of Memphis, TN, this location provides easy access to FedEx’s Super Hub, the country’s largest air cargo hub/airport, and the BNSF intermodal yard.
Scannell 55 is a Class A, 1,021,440 sf speculative, cross-dock warehouse geared towards 1-2 tenants. Building boasts 54’x50’ column spacing, slab thickness 7” unreinforced 4,000 psi, clear height 36’, and R-19 insulation. The dock doors feature up to 200 insulated doors and 4 drive-in doors. Parking includes up to 417 trailer parking and auto parking spaces up to 713. Scope of work includes site work, shell building construction, and all MEP design and fire protection services.
