Evans General Contractors was contracted by Scannell Properties on the design-assist of a distribution center in Byhalia, Mississippi. This cross-dock facility has 139 insulated dock doors, four ramped drive-in doors, and 40’ clear height, in addition to a shipping & receiving office, conference rooms, and offices. On this 135 acre site, there is a retention pond and 5,000 SF of retaining walls. This is the first phase of the Interchange Commerce Center, conveniently located right off Interstate 269, and only 40 miles from a major population center in Memphis, TN.
