Oracal USA is a recognized global leader in the manufacturing of vinyl and self-adhesive films for plotting and printing. Oracal contracted with Evans for the second phase of construction on their corporate headquarters and film coating plant in Black Creek, Georgia.
The 100,000 sf existing building expansion is composed of a conventional steel structure and concrete tilt-up wall panels with a mechanically fastened TPO roof and ESFR sprinkler system. The new manufacturing space features a multi-level mezzanine and fully integrated automated retrieval system. Scope of work included shell building improvements/ construction with all finishes, all mechanical process installations, and a comprehensive site work package. Evans successfully managed the fourteen-month project without interruption to Oracal’s ongoing, high-demand production processes.
