Printpack

Printpack manufactures flexible and rigid packaging specifically for food markets as well as some non-food markets. They cover packing solutions from baby food and cereals to condiments and pet food, and everything in between. Offering packaging formats like rollstock, rigid containers, pre-made bags, and flat bottom packaging, Printpack designs all pieces to work together: containers, printed labels, and easy-peel barrier lidding. Their North Carolina facility is ISO 13485 Certified and is an authorized converter of DuPont™ Tyvek® for Medical Device Packaging.

Evans General Contractors was hired as the design-builder for a project located at their plant in Arizona. Printpack’s FDA approved, food packaging facility underwent an expansion that encompassed 45,630 sf. This included adding 4,000 sf of new office space and the renovation of 15,000 sf of existing office and lab spaces. In the production area, Evans’ Installed chilled water plant and loops to existing equipment, RTO ductwork throughout facility, and new laminator and ink press to production line.
