Evans General Contractors was contracted to design and construct a 150,000 SF assembly manufacturing facility, along with significant site infrastructure improvements.
The project included the redevelopment of a sheet pile bulkhead and a newly dredged barge slip to provide river access for transporting completed components. The building itself offers factory manufacturing spaces, an office building, and support areas tailored to client needs. The steel facility is constructed with IMP walls and a 60 mil TPO membrane roof system. To minimize environmental impact, the construction process incorporated locally sourced materials and skylights. Evans’ scope of work encompassed all preconstruction services, site work, tenant improvements, and MEP systems.
