Scannell Properties is a privately owned real estate development and investment company that focuses on build-to-suit and speculative development projects throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. Having already developed six properties within Triangle Business Park, building two marked the seventh property for Scannell.
Evans was awarded the build in July 2017 and was contracted for both the earthwork and construction of this speculative development site. The single-story building is 208,800 sf, 32’ clear with 50’x50’ bay spacing, ESFR sprinkler system, 51 dock spaces, 2 drive-in doors, 209 auto parking spaces and 42 trailer parking spaces. Construction consisted of concrete tilt-wall and rear load configuration with 130’ truck court. Completed in Q1 2018, this single load spec warehouse helped to establish Evans’ foothold in the Raleigh/Durham MSA.
