Project Details
RL Cold contracted Evans General Contractors to construct a 288K sf SF freezer/cooler storage with a planned future expansion of 112K sf. Facility is located within miles of the airport, major highways, and ports.
Building features two 86K sf -10° F freezer storage compartments and a -10° F separate blast freezing room capable of handling 800K pounds of poultry with area and racking available for double freezing capability. Other features include a 400 pallet positions of Tippmann Engineering QFM quick freeze system and an automated spacing and de-spacing operation to help 30k pallet positions with use of VNA.
This facility is LEED Gold Certified.
