2019 TCA Outdoor Demo

The 2019 Tilt-Up Convention and Expo in Atlanta, kicked-off with a Outdoor Demo and Opening Reception that included food and drink, live music and lots of cool tilt-up technology. This year’s event focused on the demonstration of techniques and technologies that rise to the challenge of today’s demanding market.

From 6:00-8:00 PM buses of convention attendees arrived at Factory Shoals Logistics, the site of the outdoor demo, for small group – single topic interactive demonstrations. Martin Concrete, a sponsor of the TCA convention, chose Factory Shoals Logistics, a 160,000 SF speculative warehouse for Scanell Properties in which Evans General Contractors is the design/build partner, to showcase tilt-up in action. The facility which will be delivered in early 2020 just recently completed the erection of 78,000 gross SF of 9.25″ thick 4000 psi concrete walls.

The event was a great success. Evans was proud to help facilitate and execute a site that showcased the strength and durability of reinforced concrete with the precision and efficiency of the Design-Build methodology.
